'The Vintage Birdcage Chandelier from Restoration Hardware.
I think this piece is actually more appealing when you see it in a room...
I love the look of the cage and chandelier itself, but the thick marine rope seems odd to me and the $2K price tag (yes, you read that right) is way out of reach for the vast majority of us. That crazy tufted sofa -- I can't even go there. :)
I'm thinking this look (minus the marine rope) could be recreated for less. What do you think of this lighting? Thumbs up or thumbs down?

ReplyDeleteNow for the RH. Don't get me started, Lady. Weird, weird, weird. I got their appalling 600 page (thicker than a phonebook) catalog in the mail the other day and flipped through it with a mixture of fascination and disgust. There was actually a quote in there that said, "Antiques are dead." What?!! I almost fainted.
I liked that sofa :))) and you are right for $2k price tag the marine rop seemed too cheap
